"WHICH ONE IS 'FAKE' NEWS?" The 2007 Harwood Colloquy, co-sponsored by the Rose O'Neill Literary House and the Goldstein Program in Public Affairs. Correspondents from the satirical media (including Joe Garden, staff writer for The Onion) match wits and experiences with "real" journalists (including Jim Rutenberg, political reporter for The New York Times). Moderated by John Harwood, columnist for The Wall Street Journal and Washington bureau chief, CNBC.

Friday, 4/13

7:00 p.m. "CRACK-UP: STORIES OF COMEDIES & CALAMITIES," a show by Stories at the Moth, the Prince Theatre, 210 High Street. Old-fashioned storytelling from the group The Wall Street Journal calls "New York's hottest and hippest literary ticket," hosted by the writer & performer Jonathan Ames and featuring stories from Darryl "DMC" McDaniels, of Run DMC, and others. 2:00 pm in the CAC Forum, GEORGE SAUNDERS, the acclaimed story writer & satirist, author of Pastoralia and Civilwarland in Bad Decline.

3:15 pm Performance artist PAT OLESZKO, Martha Washington Terrace.

4:15 P.M. DAN KENNEDY (author of Loser Goes First: My Thirtysomething Years of Dumb Luck and Minor Humiliation) & SARAH PAYNE STUART (author of My First Cousin Once Removed: Money, Madness, and the Family of Robert Lowell). At the Rose O'Neill Literary House.

6:00 P.M. JASON SCHNEIDERMAN (author of the poetry collection Sublimation Point) & JONATHAN AMES (author of Wake Up, Sir, The Extra Man, and others). At the Rose O'Neill Literary House.
